So while futzing around my google reader today, reading a somewhat entertaining/useful WebWorkerDaily, I came across a post titled Future Job Title: Master Futzer and was wowed. This exactly what I’ve been doing for a while now.

I futz around most of the time with quite a bit of stuff, like .NET development, web development, niche blogging, some freelancing and read a bunch about SEO, SEM, Affiliate Marketing, link building and just plain technology news.

I consider myself a Master Futzer because it that’s what I love to do and spend quite a bit of time doing it. Ultimately I’d like this to be my job just like the Uber Master Futzer Scobelizer.

On the other hand this is a bit of a curse, I mean, even when I wrote this little post futzed around with 4 or 5 different things instead of just finishing this post.

But this is what this blog will be about, futzing around whatever it is that has me interested at the time. If you’re a Master Futzer too, drop me a line, lets compare notes!

Up next? Wordpress futzing. I’m going to use all the time I’ve spent futzing around and collecting useless at the time information and apply it when I need it, which is now. See, futzing is already proving useful to me. I definately agree that eventually this type of skill may be highly valuable to people that just don’t have the time for research or even simply stumbling across the cool stuff around the internets.
